Rabbi Alan Kalinsky serves as the West Coast Director for the Orthodox Union. In his capacity, he serves as a mentor to Rabbis and a liaison to congregations that are members of the Orthodox Union. Prior to assuming his position on the West Coast, Rabbi Kalinsky served in several congregations on the East Coast and most recently served as the Rabbi of the Young Israel of North Beverly Hills. In 2002, Rabbi Kalinsky retired having served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve as a Chaplain for twenty-eight years, retiring with the rank of Lt. Colonel.
